Is bullying a rite of passage of childhood and adolescence? Is it apart of the maturation process one needs to go through to reach adulthood? Explain. Mrs. Hogeboom brings up this topic on page 108.
Adam A. :The answer to this question is complicated because to a very few children bullying is like a rite of passage. But for me I think that bullies bully people because they also get bulled and or they have low self-esteem or have insecurities. Bullying to them is like a way out from there sadness and a chance for them to fell superior to other people. Although bullying helps them it hurts others and bullies often try to ignore that. This is what I think the answer to the question is but I would still like a comment from you.

I FEEL THAT THE REASONS STATED IN YOUR ANSWER ARE QUITE VALID, ALTHOUGH I DON'T EXACTLY UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU MEAN WHEN YOU SAY THAT BULLIES TRY TO IGNORE THE PAIN THEY INFLICT ON OTHERS (SEE YOUR SECOND LAST SENTENCE)
Excellent job of commenting to the question and a classmate responding to your post.
